Just when you thought life couldn’t get any worse, the Fringe crew has returned with almost an hour of content-free Fringe entertainment designed to kill brain cells almost as fast as the alcohol we consumed to make the episode! Featuring Joe Blum, Tim Fescoe, and moi, your straight-laced host Jeremiah Lewis, this episode marks our one year and one month birth, which is cause for discussion of everything but the significance of the occasion, which is great, but not earth-shattering great.
We commence with a meandering discussion of St. Patrick’s Day festivities, mostly revolving around a drinking game and the not-well-known sequel to The Wizard of Oz, leading directly into the ever popular subject of hobos, this time with a new concept that is sure never to launch within six months, HoboStruggling.com. A previous discussion of NCAA basketball causes us to discuss bracketing for all of life’s major decisions, and then we just go nuts.
Leprechauns versus Clowns, who would win? We bring back vampires and pull in the munchkins for an all-fantasy bracket brawl that results in much heated debate, but not much in the way of a consensus. We talk to Tim Shabanowitz, our recurring phone guest, and then end with how Murphy’s Law ruined my life.
The iTunes feed is a great addition to your morning’s activities, but if you want you can download the episode directly in mp3 format. The Fringecast XML feed is available through a feed reader. All shows are archived by date, and can be accessed on the right hand sidebar.
Music was provided for free by the Podshow Podsafe Music Network. All other content is provided free by us, for some reason.
