Well, crap. Movable Type 3.1 just got released, and I’m moderately more happy about 3.0 than I was with 2.661, and 3.1 offers exactly what I’ve been waiting for in MT, which is to say, Dynamic Archives. On the one hand, this can put some added load onto the server, but it reduces space requirements (not that I’m worried about exceeding that) and makes rebuilding a non-issue.
Nevertheless, it is kind of a pain to upgrade, so I may wait for this weekend to do so. Or maybe next week. Or maybe I’ll just do it whenever it feels right. These things you must approach with a certain ‘no-mind’ about it. I will do it when it is right to do it.
