<description>Personally, I thought CTHD was a better film, but Hero does succeed in creating the same kind of mood that CTHD evoked, and there is a grace in the fighting and cinematography that I admire. Definitely worth the watch.

<description>Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon is one of the best films to come along in many years. Its quiet themes and timeless messages coupled with the gorgeous backdrop of the bamboo forests, the mountains and deserts of China were fantastic. I can even forgive Director Ang Lee for his work on &quot; The Hulk&quot; because of the beauty of CTHD. I will go see Hero in order to compare the wire fu, the choreography and the effects; nobody can top Chow Yun Fat however, and Michelle Yeouh was excellent as well. Hero seems like it has a lot to live up to.
