Reading your review was an interesing experience. I actually found myself nodding agreement every now and then and actually agreeing in toto with the theme. AvP was really a dreadful waste of film, although for me it served to fill an otherwise dreary two hours that I might have spent doing something useful...like knitting belly button lint. Nice job (for once) in getting one right. By the way, did you get to preview "RE2: Apocalypse"...can't wait for that cinematic gem. I’m not sure but I might have had a watershed moment here.
