Economic data during this time is also available on the website (dollar amounts, dollar values, etc.  Even accounting for the decade&#039;s difference in values and the US&#039; uninvolvment from &#039;73-&#039;79 (which would skew the data against the &quot;US armed Hussein&quot; argument), it&#039;s still telling data.

		<description>Any idea what percentage of the dollar value between 1973 &amp; 1983 is that needs to be removed from the table to make it more accurate towards your statement?
Numbers are wonderful things but if you are going to compare dollar values like this they need to be an accurate reflection of the picture - there&#039;s a ten year period in there where the U.S. was uninvolved. A source for the chart would be handy as well.
