From Michael Moore’s website:

Don’t be defeated by polls that show 70% of the public in favor of the war. Remember that these Americans being polled are the same Americans whose kids (or neighbor’s kids) have been sent over to Iraq. They are scared for the troops and they are being cowed into supporting a war they did not want

This shows just how much respect he has for the average American. If he holds this little faith in the courage and commitment of the average American, how can he hold so much faith in his “majority” of dissent? He obviously thinks that the people being polled are weak, pathetic, cowardly infantiles who do nothing more than parrot prevailing opinion around them. Why then should those who latch on to his every word even imagine he respects them? Michael Moore does not respect anyone but himself, and he’ll trample anything he can to get his voice heard. He is a liar, a destroyer of facts, and a brigand with a camera.
And I still maintain that fictition is not a word.
